Custom WordPress website for Gabrielle Pinkerton and her team at ‘Cause We Can Events. They specialize in destination adventure wedding planning and plan amazing corporate events too. ‘Cause We Can Events have planned events all over the world. Each event is unique, fun, and planned beautifully.

The original website had a few issues. It was difficult to find the wedding portfolio and the blog page displayed the full content of every post. The site was slow and didn’t match the elegant, fun vibe of ‘Cause We Can Events services and work.
The new website is fast, beautiful, and easy to navigate. The wedding projects are featured prominently on the home page, and the services are clearly described on the Our Services page. The blog and category pages showcase the 100+ helpful blog posts on the website.
Every page ends with a clear call to action. The desktop header and mobile menu include an option to search the website. The beautifully designed search results page keeps users on the website to discover more about ‘Cause We Can Events.

Technical Notes:
The new WordPress website was developed with the WordPress block editor. The majority of the website uses standard WordPress blocks styled using block patterns and block styles.
A few custom blocks were created for items like the featured posts on the blog and category pages, and the custom image hover on projects. The WordPress site editor is used with template parts so ‘Cause We Can Events can control the the template content throughout the website.
